How I Approach Production Design for Commercials
Typically, the job lasts 2-3 days, with at least 1-2 preparation day beforehand. I find that most commercials are designed to engage directly with their audience through TV and social media, often with a quick turnaround. The process is quite similar to managing a short film budget, something I’ve been doing from the start of my career. On set, I’m always equipped with my DeWalt toolbox, props, and set dressings to bring the vision to life.
